The 2023 Grammys Red Carpet Took Us From The Club To The Cult
The 2023 Grammys ceremony is certainly one to watch. Beyoncé, nominated in nine categories, is poised to break the record for most wins in the award show’s history. In the competitive Album of the Year category, where she’s nominated for last year’s house-tinged smash album Renaissance, she’s up against projects by Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, and Adele. The lineup mirrors 2017’s show, where the British singer’s album 25 contentiously won out over Queen Bey's Lemonade.
Whatever the outcome, it’s sure to be a night to remember, and kicking it off was an equally ferocious display on the red carpet. Now that awards season is in full swing, stars took the opportunity to don their best and boldest attire. "Unholy" collaborators Sam Smith and Kim Petras arrived with a glamorous cult in tow, including Drag Race stars Violet Chachki and Gottmik. Feathers abounded, notably on country-pop star Kacey Musgraves, as did sparkles on nominees Harry Styles and Taylor Swift.
