It's almost 2017 -- and for Teen Mom 2's Chelsea, Jenelle, Kailyn and Leah, it symbolizes new challenges when the upcoming season of the long-running docu-series returns. Right after the iconic Times Square ball drop.

In the first look at the groundbreaking reality program -- which will debut on January 2 -- the girls are back to document their ever-evolving lives as the calendar year kicks off. And as the trailer below indicates, there are changes and developments that will make their mark on the women forever. From babies and breakups to co-parenting and celebrations (plus plenty of tender moments with their kiddos in between), the young parents are leaving nothing off-limits as they navigate their paths with loved ones and former partners.
