Watch Beyoncé's Powerful ‘Freedom’ Performance For Alton Sterling And Philando Castile

She honored victims of police brutality on her latest tour stop

Alton Sterling and Philando Castile were just two of the hundreds of names projected across Beyoncé's stage in Glasgow on Thursday night, when she paused her performance to pay homage to the many victims of police brutality.

"Countless others" were honored with a moment of silence. The audience held up their phones in remembrance. Bey then launched into a raw, passionate a cappella version of her hit "Freedom," which she recently sang at the BET Awards with Kendrick Lamar.

This powerful tribute comes just hours after she shared an equally powerful letter on her website, which calls on police to “stop killing us” and asks fans to contact their local legislators to make their voices heard.

You can count on Beyoncé to "break chains" and keep fighting for "Freedom," for change, and for justice.
