DJ Khaled Is Just As Nervous Around Beyoncé As The Rest Of Us Would Be

'I’m not messing that up'

DJ Khaled recently booked a slot opening for Beyoncé on the Formation tour, but that hasn’t stopped him from being just as starstruck as the rest of us would be around Queen Bey.

In a new interview with the New York Times, Khaled revealed how skittish he is on tour. "I’m very quiet. Every time I’ve ever seen her is when I’m with my brother Jay Z, and I just say, ‘Hi,' and I look the other way so fast, and I kind of run,” he said. "I just don’t want to say nothing too much. I’m not messing that up."

True to form, Khaled also dropped some major keys on the NYT. "No. 1 key is God. That’s the master key,” he said. "Another key is ‘never give up.’” He also noted that he’s eager to get into filmmaking at some point in his career: “My life goal is to do everything forever. My life goal is called ‘live life.' I want to do movies. I want to work with Denzel Washington."

“Touring with Beyoncé” is a pretty big item to check off the list of “everything forever,” so it seems like Khaled is well on his way.
