The Kid Who Played Young Nicolas Cage In 'National Treasure' Is A Total Babe Now

He's going to steal... everyone's hearts (sorry)

Twelve years ago, Hunter Gomez landed the role of Young Ben Gates, the kid version of Nicolas Cage's character in National Treasure. In the film's opening scene, Gomez listens to his grandfather's (Christopher Plummer) stories about the Knight's Templar, Free Masons, George Washington, and one ginormous hidden treasure. Though his scene is short, it's crucial to the plot of the film.

You remember him as this kid...

... but now, he's a total babe.

After National Treasure, Gomez guest-starred on beloved series like Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. In 2014, he graduated from Arizona State University.

Gomez currently has several projects in the works, including 2017's The Little Mermaid.

And because everything comes full circle, here's Gomez hanging out in Washington, D.C.

No word on whether he tried to steal The Declaration of Independence while he was there.
