'Fast 7': Jason Statham Talks Villainous Role with MTV News

In an unedited interview with MTV News' Josh Horowitz, actor and professional ass-kicker Jason Statham discussed his upcoming projects ("Redemption", "Expendables 3"), potentially working with his dream directors (who doesn't love David Fincher?), and the last time he had a full head of hair ("1973, was it?").

However, what we're really interested in is Statham's post-credits appearance in this summer's "Fast & Furious 6", and what this means for the next installment of the franchise.

"I was going to be in 'Fast 6', and it just never worked out," he revealed. "It was a series of situations. Things just didn't come together in a way."

So what can audiences expect from "Fast 7"? "Lots of bald people," he joked, referring to himself and the film's star, Vin Diesel. "There's an outline of what I'll be doing. It's quite a strong outline. So we know what I'm going to be doing, but I don’t want to tell you too much about it."

There's one thing we know for sure — Statham will bring something new to the ever-growing franchise. "Each movie is different, each character is not the same person. It's a different story. So to try to repeat the same thing is not good."
