Lauren Conrad has made Mexico her go-to spot for some memorable life events -- that unforgettable "Laguna Beach" spring break with Stephen Colletti and Kristin Cavallari as well as her bachelorette bash with fellow MTV alum Lo Bosworth, to name just a couple. And, for another milestone -- turning the big 3-0 -- the "Hills" star went South of the Border to celebrate the once-in-a-lifetime occasion. Bring on the surf, sand and margaritas.

"Had so much fun saying farewell to my 20's in Mexico," Mrs. Tell captioned the Instagram snapshot above, which finds the birthday gal surrounded by her dear girlfriends as they enjoy the stunning and sunny scenery.

An obvious statement: This moment is the complete opposite of that evening when her childhood pal (Stephen) called out his then-ladylove (Kristin) for dancing on bar tops...
