Kate Upton Is Now Part Of The Franco-Rogen Squad

Oh hai, Lisa.

James Franco's "The Disaster Artist," a movie about the making of the worst movie ever made, has just scored a blonde bombshell for its cast.

According to The Wrap, Kate Upton is officially on board the project.

Franco will direct and star in the movie as Tommy Wiseau, the man responsible for the famously terrible 2003 film "The Room." Wiseau had no filmmaking experience when he wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the movie, which he funded through mysterious means that only lended an even greater air of mystery to the whole project. ("The Room" has gained a cult following since its debut, just for being so incredibly, spectacularly bad.)

Seth Rogen, Dave Franco, and Josh Hutcherson are also starring as various key players from the film, with "The Fault in Our Stars" writers Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber adapting the script from a tell-all book written by Wiseau's "The Room" co-star Greg Sestero.

Meanwhile, there's no mention of which role Upton will be playing, but her resemblance to Juliette Daniels, who played Lisa in "The Room," makes it kind of a no-brainer.

"The Disaster Artist" doesn't have an official release date yet, but best guess is that Upton will be tearing James Franco's Wiseau apart on the big screen sometime in late 2016.
