Elton John has helped Eminem with his sobriety and he's worked with Kanye West, but he's also apparently a fan of Young Thug.

The singer opened up about why he appreciates the MC during an interview with Noisey today.

"I heard a track on Beats 1 and I loved it so much," the iconic singer said, though he didn't specify the track title. "But he’s got himself into trouble, hasn’t he?"

Well, he has gotten in some trouble. You may recall he was arrested for making terroristic threats earlier this year. He was also accused of being involved in a Lil Wayne tour bus shooting (an accusation he's denied).

But instead of focusing on that, Elton John was asked about Thugger's fashion, his dresses and leopard print clothes.

"I love all of that," he said. "It’s unexpected. I remember when Blind Faith came out, with a nude girl and John & Yoko, you had to buy it in a black plastic bag. And you should be able to do things like that but we don’t live in that kind of world anymore."

That's an interesting connection Elton John made because Thugger also appeared naked on the cover of Barter 6, which you can hear below.
