Not to brag or anything, but we at MTV News celebrated Britney Spears’ 34th birthday Wednesday (Dec. 2) with a pretty f—king great gift: A shoutout to her 10 best songs that are tragically underappreciated.

But we now must concede the title of “Best Britney Gift-Giver” to Miley Cyrus, who pretty much one-upped everyone with one hell of a giant surprise.

The Birthday Queen shared a few photos from her surprise party on Instagram, including one group shot with her friends and family (including her two adorable sons, Sean and Jayden). There are plenty of noteworthy aspects to this pic, including a living room decked out with presents, Britney wearing a birthday crown, and “Spongebob Squarepants” playing on the TV (stars: they’re just like us!).

The thing that’s most eye-catching, though, is a group of big-ass balloons that spell B-R-I-T-N-E-Y. They’re shiny, they’re bold, and they were evidently a birthday surprise from Miley.

“Had the CUTEST surprise party today!!! A special thank you to Miss @MileyCyrus for sending these awesome balloons! ?” Britney captioned the pic.

Of course, this is hardly the first time Miley’s fangirled over the reigning Princess of Pop. She appropriately freaked out when she saw Britney’s Las Vegas residency show in 2013, and she even managed to score a Britney feature for the track “SMS (Bangerz)” the following year.

Along with sharing Miley’s surprise gift, Britney also gave us a peep at her pink and yellow cupcakes (with some impressively intricate details… seriously, someone submit these to “Cupcake Wars”).

And last but certainly not least, the birthday girl also showed off her teacup cake while posing in a fuzzy animal bathrobe and holding a wand.

“Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes today!” she wrote. “I loved reading them just as much as I loved my teacup cake ?”

Truly a celebration fit for a queen. HBD, Brit!
