Kristen Stewart: 'I Don't Go Out In My Underwear Anymore'

The "Snow White and the Huntsman" star was not prepared for the world's invasion into her private life. In fact, she didn't realize the full extent of it until she did a little online research.

"You can Google my name and one of the first things that comes up is images of me sitting on my front porch smoking a pipe with my ex-boyfriend and my dog," she revealed to Vanity Fair, recalling the moment she realized her life changed. "It was [taken] the day the movie came out. I was no one. I was a kid. I had just turned 18. In [the tabloids] the next day it was like I was a delinquent slimy idiot, whereas I'm kind of a weirdo, creative Valley Girl who smokes pot. Big deal. But that changed my daily life instantly. I didn't go out in my underwear anymore."

But that's not because Kristen is concerned with her appearance. Looking perfect in photos is far from her goal as she hits the red carpet. In fact, she's proud of the poses she gets ridiculed for. "If I took perfect pictures all the time, the people standing in the room with me, or on the carpet, would think, 'What an actress! What a faker!' That thought embarrasses me so much that I look like s--- in half my photos, and I don't give a f---. What matters to me is that the people in the room leave and say, 'She was cool. She had a good time. She was honest.' I don't care about the voracious, starving s--- eaters who want to turn truth into s---."

Whoa, feisty! Although, her point is clear. Regardless of whether or not reporters notice she's laughing and having fun at premieres and events, her beau Robert Pattinson told VF that they'll keep their preconceived notions that she has a drab personality.

"People have decided how they are going to perceive her," he said. "No matter how many times she smiles, they'll put in the one picture where she's not smiling."

As for her red carpet style choices, KStew actually enjoys wearing top designer fashions--or as she tells the mag, "some cool s---"--even though she tends to opt for converse sneakers over heels (like at the MTV Movie Awards). We can't say we really blame her. Would you want to risk falling on your face while you accept an award, especially with a hunk like Channing Tatum sitting in the audience? We didn't think so.

Jaw-dropping, heart-pounding, gut-busting moments galore. See what just happened at the 21st annual MTV Movie Awards!
