Hug Me, Brotha: A 'Drake And Josh' Reunion Is Happening

Dreams do come true.

Josh Peck has been hardcore campaigning for a "Drake & Josh" reunion for months now, and it looks like the TV gods have finally answered his calls.

Today (Nov. 24), ETonline broke the news that Drake Bell is set to guest star on an upcoming episode of Peck's Fox comedy "Grandfathered," which means both Drake and Josh will be on our screens AT THE SAME TIME. If we can't have an official "Drake & Josh" reunion, then this will have to do.

In the upcoming episode, Bell will play Kirk, a flashy tech investor whom Gerald (Peck) and Vanessa (Christina Milian) are desperate to meet up with to pitch their new app. But once Gerald and Vanessa come face-to-face with him, they realize that he's probably not the best man to do business with.

To be perfectly honest, we don't care who Bell is playing as long as the beloved duo finds a way to recreate this iconic "D&J" moment:

Hug Me Brotha

When MTV News caught up with Peck, 29, at this summer's ATX Television Festival, the former Nickeldeon star said he was 100 percent down for an official "Drake & Josh" reunion.

"I think people are always sort of begging for some sixth season of 'Drake & Josh,'" he said. "To just pick it back up without ever acknowledging that there was a 10-year gap might be a little odd -- because we definitely put on some years, but if they figured out a really cool fun way to bring back the entire cast and do, I don’t know a three episode mini-series or something, that would be dope. I’ll go work at the movie theater again."

Of course, there was one catch at the time: "I’m going to do every scene shirtless and maybe pantsless."

Since then, we've confirmed that Bell, 29, is also down for a legit reunion, as well as Allison Scagliotti, who played Josh's main squeeze Mindy during the final season.

"To Dan [Schneider], we’ve seen a 'Kenan & Kel' reunion, we’ve seen a 'Zoey 101' follow-up," she told us. "Where is our 'Drake And Josh: Where Are They Now?' Where is it? I'm in favor of it, and I think the rest of us are too, so I don’t know what the hold-up is."

Seriously! What is the hold-up, Schneider?
