If there's space in the calendar for National Tell a Fairy Tale Day or Measure Your Feet Day, then we can certainly devote 24 hours to the many people who provide food, shelter and sometimes even accessories (ahem, Lauren Conrad) to animals. This Sunday, April 27, is National Pet Parent's Day, and to give a nod to anyone who's got little kitties, puppies or snakes (ehh...) at home, MTV will run a #PetSelfie marathon all day, during which those of you who've been submitting photos of yourselves with your non-human sidekicks might just pop up on screen!

Host Lenay Dunn of "10 on Top" will be on hand from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. to put the cream of the pet-selfie crop on the air during commercial breaks, and if you passed along a pic to us, you might just spot it alongside a snapshot of an MTV star cuddling his or her own furry BFF (like "Faking It"'s Gregg Sulkin's shot with his pup, featured above).
