This season of "Teen Mom 2" provided no shortage of talked-about incidents -- but the scene that arguably received the most attention was Jenelle's on-again off-again boyfriend Nathan being arrested and charged with criminal domestic violence following a non-televised altercation. And during tonight's "Unseen Moments" special -- which typically features more lighthearted instances -- viewers got another glimpse and different perspective following the troubling ordeal: The show's producers (Alexis and Larry) broke the fourth wall and stepped in front of the cameras to advise the visibly shaken young mother about how best to protect herself.

"I don't know when or how he gets out, but I don't think you should be here when and if he gets out," Larry explained, as seen in the clip below. "Right now, I just think it's important for you to be able to let people know where you are and what's going on -- just so you and Kai are safe."

Even though Larry and Alexis offered Jenelle their unconditional support, the 23-year-old couldn't help but feel like she had "nothing and no one." The interaction between the trio is a good example of how critical support from family and friends is in helping a person who's experiencing abuse stay safe.
