5 Seconds of Summer spent all of Wednesday hacking fans' Twitter accounts in the name of The New Broken Scene. But what exactly is The New Broken Scene?

The "She's Kinda Hot" band revealed Thursday (Sept. 17) that it's the follow-up to their Derp Con event, and they'll be flying fans from all over the world to join in. The group's first convention in L.A., where the band basically goofed off with fans the whole time, was a major success, and this year will likely be no different.

This second convention, which also includes a live performance, takes place on October 31 and November 1, a week after their sophomore album, Sounds Good Feels Good, drops. Fans can enter to win by logging on to www.thenewbrokenscene.com.

"The New Broken Scene" is also a line from Sounds Good Feels Good's first single, "She's Kinda Hot," and it's something drummer Ashton Irwin rambled on about during their two-hour-long surprise live stream in July.

Between this and the band's upcoming sophomore album, there's a lot to take in at the moment.
