'The Walking Dead' Will Bring 3 Newbies Into Alexandria For Season 6

The population of Alexandria just got a little bit bigger.

Yo, Alexandra -- incoming!

Three new faces are going to be popping up in "The Walking Dead" Season 6, and we have a baaaad feeling about at least one of them.

As revealed by Entertainment Weekly, Merritt Wever, Ethan Embry, and Corey Hawkins have joined the cast of the very undead AMC series for its new season, and a few key details are now known about each of their characters.

Merritt Wever, who was announced at the San Diego Comic-Con cast panel, will be getting a slight career upgrade as Dr. Denise Cloyd, a much-needed surgeon in town. Somehow we doubt she'll be quite as quirky and peptastic as her "Nurse Jackie" counterpart Zoey Barkow. But we'll take it because MERRITT WEVER, class.

Meanwhile, Ethan Embry is expected to become a culmination of several characters from the comics who've yet to show their faces in the TV adaptation. In the Comic-Con trailer for the new season, Embry's Carter takes issue with Rick's new renegade sense of direction for the formerly calm community. Which means even more tension is nigh.

Finally, actor Corey Hawkins ("Straight Outta Compton") will be bringing the "tough and skeptical" supply-runner Heath to life for the new season. In the source material, he and the good doctor have got a thang going on, so we could be looking at the next pair of lovey doveys on staff.

Is it Oct. 11th yet?
