After nearly two years together, Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo have reportedly called it quits.

Sources confirmed the split to People, saying that the breakup has been "tough" for the former couple, who first met at the 2013 Miss USA competition and started dating in August of that year.

Rumors of a breakup started swirling when fans noticed that the couple had't been seen together since May at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. But Nick told ABC just last week that the two were very much together despite the hardships of a long-distance relationship.

"It's good," Nick said of their relationship. "Long distance is always tough and dealing with that is always an interesting thing, but it's all good. We're both busy and young and enjoying life, it's going well."

Nick penned his hit song "Jealous" about his former Miss Universe girlfriend, who also starred in the video.

“The first time I ever hung out with Nick there was actually an incident where somebody did make a comment to me. He had not said a single thing the entire night, except this guy said something to me and Nick turns around red in the face and says, ’What did you just say?’” Olivia once said. “So I was actually not that surprised.”

The two have yet to address the split, but Olivia did post this Maya Angelou quote on Instagram.
