How Are Catelynn And Tyler Adjusting To Life With Baby Novalee?

The 'Teen Mom' reflects on all the challenges she faces caring for her newborn.

Catelynn and Tyler are joyfully relishing the early days with their bundle of joy Novalee -- poopy diapers and all! -- and during this week's "Teen Mom OG" episode, the family of three began their exciting new journey together. But as any parent can relate, a tiny baby requires a lot of work and attention -- and brings plenty of unknowns that you didn't quite expect before welcoming your child.

"The hardest thing to get used to with having a newborn ... is the lack of sleep," the Michigan native reveals in the "Teen Mom OG: Featured Moment" below. "People tell you you're not going to be able to sleep, and you don't really believe 'em, but you really don't get any sleep at all."

Another key adaptation that Cate addresses: the loss of freedom.

"Tyler and I were so used to being able to get up and go to a restaurant or get up to go and go hang out with friends," the 23-year-old explains. "And now it's like, you gotta pack the whole diaper bag, make sure you have extra clothes, bottles, an extra binkie in case she loses her other one."

But what surprises C the most about caring for her precious princess? Watch the video below to hear her heartwarming answer, and be sure to keep tuning in to new episodes of "TMOG" every Monday at 10/9c.
