Catelynn and Tyler have successfully maintained a relationship with Carly's parents Brandon and Teresa ever since they outlined a plan for their little girl back on "16 and Pregnant." But on this week's episode of "Teen Mom OG," the young dad found himself in a bit of hot water after posting a video of the five-year-old that he created -- after B and T requested that he and Cate keep images and clips of Carly private.

"I feel like with Brandon and Teresa and me, it's more like a power struggle -- who's got the power to make certain decisions," Ty admits in the "Teen Mom OG: Featured Moment" below. "And I completely agree and understand that it is their child. They are raising her. The only thing that connects to me is biologically, which I get."

And while Tyler comprehends the couple's rights in this scenario, he has some strong thoughts about sharing the piece of work.

"The bottom line is, you wouldn't have that family you have if it wasn't for me," he continues, before adding that if he were an adoptive parent like B and T, he would let the birth parent "share the joy that [they] have."

Meanwhile, Catelynn -- who became emotional shortly after the digital upload and saddened at the prospect of not being able to see images of Carly if the video deeply angered her parents -- has a different approach to the ordeal.

"I didn't want to jeopardize our relationship with them and Carly," the 23-year-old explains. "I think that was my biggest thing, 'cause they told us so many times not to post pictures."
