Drake Announces Lineup For His '6ixth' Annual OVOFest: See Who's Taking The Stage

Tickets go on sale Friday.

Drake has come a long way since his first breakout homecoming concert in Toronto. That concert came just a few months after he dropped So Far Gone in 2009, but his next T. Dot show looks to be his biggest yet.

On Tuesday (Mar. 17), Drizzy announced the lineup for this summer's "6ixth" annual OVOFest, and the guest list is heavy. J. Cole, Big Sean, YG, Jeremih will join Dreamville spitters Bas, Cozz and Omen at Molson Canadian Amphitheater on August 2. Then, on the very next day, Drake will take the stage with "special guests." Tickets go on sale on Friday on LiveNation.com.

Last year, Drizzy surprised fans by bringing out Lauryn Hill, Trey Songz, Usher and 50 Cent during the finale of his annual two-day event, so this year fans can bet on some pretty big names to make the trip across the Northern border.

On Mar. 19, any fans that are feeling nostalgic will be able to look back on Drake's first Toronto show from 2009 thanks to a new film that will be hitting theaters. “Drake’s Homecoming: The Lost Footage,” is a project backed by Jas Prince, the music mogul who linked Drake with Lil Wayne and YMCMB. Drizzy has distanced himself from the film however.

"The Drake Homecoming film is not something OVO or Drake have any part in. I feel it is my responsibility to inform and protect my fans," he wrote in a tweet on Monday.
