So, why did Hilary share the photo in the first place? Was she trying to show ex-husband Mike Comrie what he's missing?

The first rule of Hilary Duff is that Hilary Duff is not petty. Besides, she seems to have a pretty healthy, mature outlook on her past relationships.

"It wasn't working well enough to stay together, but there was still a lot of love involved," the "All About Me" singer revealed in a new interview for Cosmopolitan's April 2015 issue (h/t E! News). "It was just a slow set-in of us not being the match that we used to be."
