Liam Payne wants to make one thing very clear: He does not have a drinking problem.

The One Direction singer took to Twitter on Wednesday to slam a report in the Inquisitr that claimed the singer has been "reportedly partying and drinking" throughout the band's On The Road Again Tour, which is currently in Japan.

The article went on to claim that Liam was spotted "falling down drunk at a nightclub around Valentine’s Day." But as Liam put it, when he's not onstage he's playing "video games with friends and [going] to the gym."

But don't get Liam wrong, like any "normal boy," he likes to go out occasionally too. The 21-year-old recently tweeted that an "early show after a night out is not a good mix."

This isn't the first time a 1D member has had to defend themselves against false accusations. Back in November, Zayn Malik denied he was dealing with substance abuse issues after missing an appearance on the "Today Show" due to illness.
