Suge Knight Might Be Stuck In Jail Until His Hit-And-Run Trial

Knight's bail was suddenly revoked.

Things aren't looking good for Marion “Suge” Knight. The former rap mogul remains in custody on suspicion of murder after a fatal hit-and-run incident in Los Angeles last week, and he might be stuck there for awhile.

According to the LA Times, his bail -- which was previously set at $2.2 million -- was suddenly revoked on Monday morning (Feb 2.)

"It was at $2.2 million and just a few minutes ago it was changed to 'no bail,'" Suge's attorney James E. Blatt told the Times. "I am working now to see what has happened."

Although his lawyer wasn't available to share any more details, it sounds like Suge's past might be coming back to haunt him here. He's known for being quite an intimidating figure, and a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida echoed that.

They cited a “possible flight risk, three-strike candidate, possible witness intimidation issues and his criminal past," as reasons for why his bail was revoked.

One man was killed in the hit-and-run after an argument that took place on the set of a promotional shoot in Compton. The LAPD have reportedly obtained video footage that might be used as evidence in the case.
