Joey Bada$$ Ends 'Fallon' Performance With His Hands Up In A Show Of Unity

Hands up in support.

Joey Bada$$'s debut album, B4.Da.$$, arrives on Jan. 20, and ahead of the big release the Brooklyn rapper gave a moving performance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

On Tuesday night, Joey hit the stage with some assistance from BJ the Chicago Kid and the Roots to perform "Like Me," and ended his set with hands up in the air, in support of the recent wave of protests that followed the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

The song will appear on his upcoming album. “I worked with Statik Selektah heavy,” Joey told MTV News about the album. “I worked with DJ Premier. Hit-Boy. There’s Kirk Knight. There’s Chuck Strangers. Zo Supreme.”

And Joey wasn't the only rapper making waves on TV Tuesday night.

Childish Gambino also appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to perform "Sober," while 2 Chainz got into a heated (and hilarious) debate over the legalization of marijuana with Nancy Grace.
