Fresh off of his new haircut, Austin Mahone has added another new element to his look—a nose piercing. Last night, mere hours after he debuted his new 'do, Austin posted a mysterious photo to Instagram with no caption, but a good look at his new facial decoration.

As anyone who has ever gotten a piercing knows, your first ring—whether ear, nose, lip, etc.—is not typically, um, the most blinged out. Austin opted for what looks like a tiny white stud, but in approximately two months, he'll be able to swap it out for something a little flashier, if he wants. Maybe a tiny diamond like Tupac?

New year, new Austin. Any guesses for what's next? Growing a mustache, perhaps?
