It's no secret that5 Seconds Of Summer have had a huge year.

Their self-titled debut album went straight to #1, they toured the world with One Direction and performed at the 2014 Video Music Awards. Not bad for a band that, at this time last year were relatively unknown in the pop music world.

So, how do they plan on toasting 2014 and ringing in the new year? By staying awake -- fingers crossed.

"Depends on the jet lag because sometimes you have to sleep before midnight," Luke told us backstage at Z100's Jingle Ball concert of whether he will drop before the ball on New Year's Eve. "I've been going to sleep at, like, 10 every night because the jet lag has been killing me, so hopefully I can stay up until 12."

The band -- who have a big 2015 ahead of them with their Rock Out With Your Socks Out tour -- also hope for another special something on December 31: a New Year's kiss.

"I've actually never had one before," Calum said before Luke added, "To have a kiss would be nice."

Well, pucker up, boys, because I have a feeling that there are plenty of members from the 5SOS Fam who would gladly grant your wish.
