Beanie Sigel Shot, Taken Into Surgery
His injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.
Beanie Sigel was shot Friday morning (December 5) and was taken into surgery.
According to The Press of Atlantic City, the Philly rapper was shot in the torso in Pleasantville, New Jersey this morning before being taken to AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center's city campus.
Police arrived on the scene at 9:25 a.m., and brought a man into custody.
A source close to Sigel confirmed to MTV News that the injuries are not life-threatening.
Beans was released from prison in August following two years behind bars for tax evasion. The Press of Atlantic City is reporting that he has been in home confinement at an undisclosed location since Sept 25.
