Beanie Sigel has been released from prison.

MTV News spoke with Wayne "Wayno" Clark, a music industry veteran, with ties to Sigel and his family, who confirmed that Beans was released from federal lock-up on Thursday morning (August 14).

Sigel's brother posted pictures of the Broad Street Bully on his @mr_himforreal Instagram account.

The Philly MC had been behind bars since 2012, following tax evasion charges. Then, last year, additional time was added to that sentence after an incident prior to his incarceration where police found prescription drugs on him during a traffic stop.
