You know that new Usher song people would only be able to get if they picked up a specially marked box of Honey Nut Cheerios? Well, there appears to be a problem, and it might be cereal serious.

Andrew Winistorfer wrote about his efforts to grab a copy of "Clueless" for Noisey on Thursday (November 13). He made three trips to two separate Walmarts and picked up two different boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios during his tale of "heroic bravery" -- but it was all in vain. Every time he tried to enter his promo codes, he received an error message. And as he pointed out, he wasn't alone.

As of Friday morning, Winistorfer had yet to successfully download the "New Flame" singer's track.

A rep for Honey Nut Cheerios told MTV News that although they had been made aware of the issues Winistorfer had with his promo codes: "We have ensured Noisey that the downloads are working and have advised that they and anyone else having difficulty to please make sure that when they are entering the code, that they only enter the information after the 'US.'"

Since the nearest Walmart is an hourlong subway-to-bus ride away across state lines -- and, um, it's cold? -- I'll defer to all of you. Have any of you been able to successfully snag a copy of Usher's "Clueless" using the Honey Nut Cheerios promo code? Let me know in the comments below.
