Jennifer Lawrence's Two 'Hunger Games' Premiere Dresses Couldn't Be More Different

From floral embroidery to a high slit, all in one night.

It's the best time of the year once again—Hunger Games season! We just kicked off those special few weeks where the movie's cast is on red carpets, like, every night and, lookin' fancy on each one. Last night was the world premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 in London and Jennifer Lawrence celebrated the movie's debut in not one, but two gowns.

For the red carpet, J. Law wore a quilted Dior gown, decorated with floral embroidery. While the dress may appear white, don't be fooled—it's actually ice blue. It should also be noted that Jenn's hair is once again long enough to be put into an updo—rejoice! She accessorized her new beauty ability with a simple black headband.

For the after party, Jennifer switched into an ~edgier~ look, courtesy of Mugler. The plunging white gown features both a leg slit and a slit on the right halter strap, held together by, essentially, tiny silver staples. She ditched the headband but kept the upswept 'do—once your hair is long enough to put up, you gotta embrace it, y'know?

For Catching Fire premieres, Jenn was all Dior, everything. Things are, clearly, off to a slightly different start, but there are so (so!) many more red carpets to come and we are very excited to see what J. Law has in store—it's like a slightly early Christmas. It's the best.
