Tinder's Upcoming 'Undo' Button Will Fix All Your Accidental Left Swipes

You'll never lose a potential match again.

It's happened to every Tinder addict on a swiping spree: You get a little too caught up in the momentum and accidentally swipe left on (a.k.a. reject) someone who is Hot with a capital "H." Once you swipe left, that person disappears into Tinder oblivion, never to be seen again.

Tinder knows your pain, and it's finally fixing the problem. Sean Rad, the mastermind behind the app, announced a new Tinder premium service at Forbes' annual 30 Under 30 Summit. Two paid features -- a swipe undo button (yay!) and a location thingy (I'm calling it a "thingy" because Tinder hasn't released a name for it yet) -- are planned to roll out later this month.

“We are adding features users have been begging us for,” Rad told Forbes. “They will offer so much value we think users are willing to pay for them.”

The first feature is obvious. When you're feeling swipe-happy and accidentally swipe left on someone you want to make out with get to know better, the undo button fixes your mistake.

As for the location thingy, this feature lets you browse potential matches anywhere in the world no matter where you live. Imagine lounging on your couch in NYC and getting a match with someone who lives in Rome. Pretty cool, right? I mean, it's kind of a weird way to start a long-distance relationship, but whatever. It's still a cool idea.

Rad also revealed that he plans to step down from his position as CEO of Tinder. Despite this leadership change, he still has big ideas for the app. A Tinder "Places" feature, for example, could help you connect with strangers who visit your favorite bars and coffee shops.

Tinder's current swiping and messaging services will remain gloriously free, which is good news for the app's users who now collectively go through 1.2 billion profiles per day. That's a whole lot of singles ready to mingle.
