A decade ago, an effervescent teen named Lauren Conrad was preparing to leave behind her roots in Laguna Beach and begin her journey as an independent young adult. But what did the SoCal native see for herself 10 years down the line? Turns out, the blond beauty had 20/20 vision.

As we near the 10th anniversary of the hit MTV series -- the milestone is on Sunday -- we dug deep into the archives and uncovered some gems. Among them: several of the cast members answering this very question during their application process for the show.

So what did LC say? "Hopefully living in this area, probably married and doing something that makes me happy," the fresh-faced high school student responded.

Excuse us while we pick our collective jaw up off the floor, because it's almost as if Lauren's psychic. Now allow us to break it down.

For starters, the lovely lady recently purchased a lavish beach abode in her hometown, in addition to her two other pads in L.A.'s Brentwood and Beverly Hills.

And if you didn't already know about the wedding of the year -- sorry, Kimye and Brangelina -- Lauren officially became a Mrs. several weeks ago when she said "I do" to the love of her life, William Tell.

Lastly, we're pretty sure she's doing something that brings a smile to her face: she has two fashion lines, best-selling books and a stellar eponymous website. Plus she's basically becoming the next Martha Stewart.
