Months after Kim Kardashian and Kanye West said "I Do," we finally got a sneak peek at their whirlwind of a wedding weekend in Paris and Florence, and it was just as perfect as we imagined.

While we didn't get a front row seat at the alter, Kim did give viewers an intimate look at the preparations, the rehearsal and some precious moments with baby North.

But there were some things that went down during the episode that surprised us, and while it wasn't Kanye's reported 20-minute epic wedding speech, we did get to go inside Kanye's Paris pad, hear a snippet of his ode to Kim and get a look at their "wedding kiss."

Here are 11 things that we totally weren't expecting to see when watching the season final of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."

1. Bridesmaid Dress Switch-Up

Kim wanted all her sisters in white for the wedding, but unfortunately not everyone was loving the dresses she picked out. "I can tell that the girls aren't loving their dresses," she said during the episode. "It is really really hard to find a dress that will fit all of my sisters body types."

Luckily Kanye has a few connections in the fashion industry and was able to find a dress that all the girls liked just days before walking down the aisle.

2. Kanye's Paris Pad

Now here is something I thought we would never see -- the inside of Kanye's Paris apartment. While we didn't get the full tour, we did get a glimpse at his living room, which was surprisingly a bit bare. The rapper decorated it with minimal furniture, complete with a large beige couch and lots of coffee table books. I guess less is more!

3. North Is Just Like Her Mom

Could baby North be any cuter? I don't think so. Kim brought North along to her final dress fitting, where she had a matching dress made out of the same lace as her wedding gown for her daughter. "I'm just so thankful she's gonna be able to share these memories with us," Kim said.

4. Meet Kanye's Besties

Finally, we got an answer about who, exactly, was standing next to Kanye when he married the girl of his dreams: his three best friends. Don, Sakiya, who co-wrote his 2009 book, "Thank You And You're Welcome," and Virgil one of Kanye's creative directors.

5. Baby You're "Awesome"

A snippet of Kanye's ode to Kim played throughout the episode, and it was simply "Awesome."

6. Rob Goes Home

While Kim was super excited (and a bit nervous) to get hitched, there was one thing missing from her wedding: her little brother Rob.

"When Rob flew to Paris, he read some nasty comments about himself and he just didn't feel comfortable and he didn't want to see all my guests and it makes me so sad for him," Kim said. "It's heartbreaking it really is and I don't even want to think about it, I don't want to talk about it, today is my wedding and I don't want to cry."

7. Brody Skips Out On The Big Event

Brody also opted to skip out on Kim's wedding, and it wasn't just because he had a DJ gig in Chicago the same night. Turns out, Brody wasn't too happy Bruce and Kris decided to pay for his brother Brandon and his wife's trip to Paris, and he wasn't invited with a plus-one.

8. Khloe's Massive Hangover

Seriously, Khloe is just the best. Girl was rocking a massive hangover the day of the wedding and got her makeup done while catching up on some sleep.

9. Kim's Wedding Present: A Lot Of Selfies

What was Kim doing just two hours before walking down the aisle? Just putting the finishing touches on her wedding gift to Kanye: a book full of selfies.

10. Fairy-tale Wedding

Kanye had one more surprise in store for Kim: getting her favorite singer, Andrea Bocelli, to sing as she walked down the aisle. It really doesn't get more picturesque then this.
