It has been quite a weekend for Ariana Grande. After opening the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night with performances of "Break Free" and "Bang, Bang," the 21-year-old won the Moonman for Best Pop Video and, at midnight, released her sophomore album.
My Everything, IS everything for the Ariantors. The album is already #1 on iTunes and the love is pouring in from her fans.
The album spans a range of musical genres -- from EDM to hip-hop to pop, there's something for everybody. While some might not have expected the pop star to work with people like The Weeknd, Cashmere Cat or Childish Gambino, Ariana was quick to remind us that this isn't exactly new for her.
“I feel like a lot of people were surprised by the collaborations, but I feel like I’ve always been a little unexpected with my collaborations,” she told MTV News. “When I was Cat Valentine [her character on Nickelodeon's "Victorious" and "Sam & Cat"], I didn't think anybody expected me to come out with my first single with Mac Miller."
