‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ Recap: Adultery, Gold Diggers & Feet Sex

Benzino asks Althea for a prenup then recants at the sight of her booty.

Is there any validity to the rumors that this week’s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” dropped a few bombshells? Well, now that you asked the question, yes there is.

Not only did viewers learn that Althea was counting Benzino’s publishing checks and that Mimi Faust had a dysfunctional childhood, but they got confirmation that Nikko Smith—or Mr. Scumbag if you’re Stevie J—is indeed already married.

But we’ll come back to that last point.

As it turns out, Benzino, who foolishly ran out and got a subpar tattoo of his fiancée on his ribs, needs to revisit Kanye West’s “Gold Digger” with the quickness.

“If you ain't no punk holla, ‘We want prenup,’ ‘We want prenup!’, yeaah!/It's something that you need to have/Cause when she leave yo' ass she gone leave with half,” raps Yeezy.

That’s the line Zino should have played on repeat before he asked Thi Thi for a prenup and then retracted it because he watched her twirl around in her shimmering dress.

“I trust you,” he told her. “F--k a prenup.”

Meanwhile, Thi Thi revealed a very gold diggerish plan to Rasheeda while shopping for a dress for her shotgun wedding.

“I want to own part of Hip Hop Weekly,” she said, scheming on Zno's print publication.

Add that to the fact that Althea’s mother has been married five times and it’s apparent that the next stop on Benzino’s love train is World of Hurt.

Karlie Redd and Yung Joc picked up where they left off last week and got into it at Erica’s fashion show.

After Karlie called Joc’s sidepiece a Teletubby, Joc let fly a few barbs of his own.

“You know you’ve been diagnosed with THOTism,” said Joc, before adding that her nether regions smelled of pimento cream cheese.

Later, while explaining his side of the story to Lil Scrappy, Joc went all Penthouse Forum on his sexual dalliances with Karlie.

“This no bulls--t, the second time we had sex she used her feet,” he said. “I never experienced that. She sat Indian style hands, feet, like she was setting up the hookah.”

Scrap admitted that he flirted with Erica, but that his heart was with the Bam.

For the sake of Emani, Erica and Momma Dee made nice after her fashion show.

A funny thing that happened before that: Momma Dee sang her R&B and gospel song for Scrappy and boldly announced that she was coming for Beyoncé and Rihanna’s throne. Where is "The Apollo’s" Sandman when you need him?

Kalenna Harper and husband Tony moved out of their moldy studio/home into some fancy new digs.

“I got a new house y’all and it’s fly,” she said. “It’s big enough for Meshach to come home and the new baby.”

But what about Tony’s other eight kids? Will they be moving in, too?

While venting to Deb Antney about her recent struggles, Mimi revealed that she was conceived as a result of her mother’s adultery and that she didn’t meet her real father until she was 16.

Steebie apologized to Mimi for his insensitive comments at the behest of Ariane, but his feelings about Freako were about to be confirmed.

“I might be sorry about a few text messages, but until Freako is gone, she gon' have to get used to me telling the truth,” he said in a confessional.

Mimi confronted Nikko about the MediaTakeOut rumors that he was married and he decided to come clean.

“Well, now that you asked the question, yes there is,” Nikko responded, confirming the rumors.

And scene.

“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. on VH1.
