It was a mom's night out for Kristin Cavallari.

The "Laguna Beach" and "Hills" party girl-turned-parent-of-two stepped out on Sunday evening in Beverly Hills (sans her football player hubby Jay Cutler and their beautiful boys Camden and Jaxon) and looked positively ravishing as she made her way to the International Film Fashion Awards.

The literally red-hot mama donned a floor-length Zac Posen scarlet dress, a Glomesh bag and L' Dezen Jewellery for the formal affair -- and opted to to leave her trademark choker at home.

It was the first time K-Cav walked (and dominated) the red carpet since giving birth to her "precious little peanut" in May. But we were already well-acquainted with her super-slim post-baby body: She showed off her fantastic figure while taking Jax for a stroll last month.

The blond beauty had been spending most of her time in the Windy City as she prepared for Jax's arrival, but now she's coming back to her roots for a short period of time -- and those breathtaking shoreline views.

We feel that a field trip for a dip in the ocean, while playing "Come Clean," is a must for the Cutvallari clan.
