Courtney and Scott struggled with the former's decision to stay abstinent on this week's episode of "16 and Pregnant." But they faced another hurdle after discovering their baby Dayton would be born with a cleft lip, just like Courtney was.

In the bonus scene below, Courtney shows her boyfriend a picture of herself as an infant so he can see what their child's affliction may look like. And the photo, Scott soon learns, is quite a rarity.

"There was a lot of pictures that just got completely destroyed because I'd 'X' my face out, or tear them, [or] just crumple them up, and [my mother] couldn't save them," says Courtney, revealing that she once felt uncomfortable with reminders of her lip pre-surgery. "But she salvaged this one."

It's the very first time Scott's seen a baby photo of his girlfriend, but the sight of her cleft lip doesn't shake him.

"I don't think it's bad, honestly," he says. "I still think you look cute."

Best of all, he tells Courtney that no matter the extent of Baby Dayton's cleft, he'll always love him.
