Wiz Khalifa On Jail Selfie Investigation: 'F--k 'Em'

He's got no regrets.

Wiz Khalifa often exudes an easygoing, IDGAF attitude, and it doesn't sound like that's changing just because there's an investigation into exactly how the Pittsburgh rapper took a selfie while in jail over the weekend.

"Nah, f--k 'em," he told MTV News on Wednesday when we visited him on the set of a commercial he's shooting for his upcoming Under The Influence of Music Tour.

The incident occurred early Sunday, when Wiz was detained at the El Paso International Airport in Texas. Then, while behind bars, he snapped a pic of himself and sent it out to his followers on Twitter.

While at Soundset Festival in Minnesota following his release on Sunday, the Rostrum Records signee revealed how he was able to have his phone while behind bars.

“I was like, ‘Yo, can I get that phone, man? I really need to call my wife. I gotta tell her what happened.’ And he gave me the phone, and I was like, ‘Selfie!’”

When we asked him what was going through his mind when he took the flick, he was pretty straightforward. "I was thinkin', I'm about to take a selfie."

And you made your thoughts become a reality, Wiz. Well done.
