Wiz Khalifa Finally Drops 28 Grams Mixtape

Trap Wiz delivers 28 new tracks.

It’s been a crazy weekend for Wiz Khalifa.

The Taylor Gang captain started his Sunday in jail after a marijuana arrest in Texas, took a couple of selfies from his cell, was released, boarded a private jet, performed at the Soundset Festival in Minnesota and just a few minutes before midnight, released his 28 Grams mixtape online for free.

Khalifa first announced the DJ Drama-hosted tape last week during an interview with MTV News and later explained to us that he wants the new project to fall in line with his other classic tapes.

Cabin Fevers — people love those. Kush and Orange Juice — people love that. Prince of the City, 1 and 2 — [fans] love it. Burn After Rolling — classic; Taylor Allderdice,Wiz boasted. “Everybody comes up to me and tells me what’s a classic so I’m just gonna add to the list.”
