AMSTERDAM — Ron Burgundy was feeling good on the red carpet of the 2013 MTV EMA ... and not just because he had finally found someone besides himself who adhered to the dress code.
"You know, you're one of the only yahoos out here that's wearing a suit," he said. "The rest of these dingleberries got weird T-shirts and vests. Nothing against Europe ... but, everything against
No, Burgundy was walking with an extra spring in his step on this night because we're less than six weeks away from the premiere of his hotly-anticipated "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" — and he can't wait for audiences to thrill to the next chapter of what he calls "the documentary on my life."
And since he was at the EMA to promote the film (and [article id="1715363"]report on various goings on[/article] throughout Amsterdam), he decided it was time to reveal the secrets behind one of "Anchorman's" most-discussed cameos: [article id="1707221"]Kanye West's cameo[/article].
Ever since photos of an Afro-ed Kanye battling it out on set surfaced back in May, folks have been speculating about just what the rapper would be doing in the film. And, as it turns out, his involvement goes way beyond just a traditional walk-on role ... seems he's been getting in the studio with some members of the Channel 4 news team, too.
"Well Kanye was there; he just wanted to come by, he's a big, big fan. He's doing an album with Paul Rudd — which I shouldn't have said, anyway it's out there," Burgundy said. "I think they were just comparing notes and laying down some tracks, as they say in the biz. Rudd is doing all the hooks. That's a big deal. I heard the album's terrible, by the way. Awful."
So now you know. Wonder how [article id="1710232"]Kanye will react[/article] to the news getting out there? The countdown to the outburst begins in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...
