Rebel Wilson Straddles Channing Tatum For Dangerous Movie Awards Drive
The road to the 2013 MTV Movie Awards is a long one, paved with nearly every peril known to man. So, it's a good thing then that the ceremony's star, "Pitch Perfect" actress Rebel Wilson, is in the passenger seat next to none other than strapping "Magic Mike" actor Channing Tatum.
In a new promo for the Movie Awards, which will air live Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. ET, the Australian actress wields a rocket launcher as Tatum takes the wheel of their bullet-riddled ride during one hellacious car chase. But Wilson can't get her shot, necessitating she straddle the hunk to get a better angle. "Brace those abs," she warns.
There's no denying it's been a big year for the man with the perfectly chiseled pecs. In addition to being an expectant first-time father and the Sexiest Man Alive, the 32-year-old starred in no fewer than five films, earning him three Movie Award nominations: Best Male Performance ("Magic Mike"), Best Shirtless Performance ("Magic Mike") and Best Musical Moment ("Magic Mike"), which he shares with co-stars Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash and Adam Rodriguez.
And his co-conspirator Wilson is no slouch either, having picked up three nominations: Best Female Performance ("Pitch Perfect"), Best Breakthrough Performance ("Pitch Perfect") and Best Musical Moment ("Pitch Perfect"), which she shares with co-stars Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, Ester Dean and Hana Mae Lee.
Catch more Movie Awards shenanigans from Wilson and a slew of celebrities when the big show airs live Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. ET.
