British rockers Primal Scream will release their sixth studio album, XTERMNTR, in early May on Astralwerks Records, the label announced on Friday (March 17). It will feature guest appearances by the Chemical Brothers, Irish DJ David Holmes, Handsome Boy Modeling School's the Automator, My Bloody Valentine's Kevin Shields, New Order's Bernard Sumner and Death in Vegas' Tim Holmes, according to the label. Primal Scream will tour in late spring, with Shields in the live lineup. No dates have been announced. XTERMNTR is the band's first full-length U.S. release since 1997's Vanishing Point and the remix album Echo Dek.
