Synth-pop duo Erasure are in the studio recording a new album, a Maverick Records spokesperson said on Tuesday (March 14). The record will be their first since 1997's Cowboy, which peaked at #43 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Erasure member Vince Clarke recently produced the UK group Family Fantastic's debut, Nice!, due April 4 on Cleopatra Records. No release date for the Erasure record has been announced.
