Belle & Sebastian's Fourth Album Due

'Chamber pop' group to follow up 1998's The Boy With the Arab Strap in June.

British "chamber pop" group Belle & Sebastian will release their as-yet-untitled fourth album June 6, a Matador Records spokesperson said. Meanwhile, Geometrid, the second album from Looper, the electronic project of part-time B&S member Stuart David, will be released May 9. Belle & Sebastian built a small but devoted following with their 1996 debut Tigermilk. They've continued to garner critical acclaim for their delicate, mannered work with If You're Feeling Sinister (1996) and The Boy With the Arab Strap (1998).
