Neko Case Releases Second Country Disc

Furnace Room Lullaby boasts cavalcade of guest artists.

Punk-gone-country singer Neko Case released her sophomore solo effort, Furnace Room Lullaby, on Tuesday. Boasting a cavalcade of guest artists, the 13-song disc includes helping hands from members of Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, the Sadies and Blue Rodeo, along with Ron Sexsmith and Evan Johns. Case, once a member of the Canadian punk trio Maow, issued her debut country disc, The Virginian, in 1997. On March 3, she hits the road for a monthlong U.S. tour.
