Tommy Lee To Take Mayhem Across North America
Former Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee is taking his rap-metal band, Methods of Mayhem, on a trek across North America.
Beginning March 16 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Lee and his partner, rapper TiLo, will make a loop across the U.S. and back into Canada during four weeks of dates. They'll wind down in New York on April 12, according to MCA Records.
The duo's gold-certified, self-titled debut, released in December, features an all-star cast of guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, George Clinton, Kid Rock, the Crystal Method and Wu-Tang Clan rapper U-God, among others. The album includes "Who the Hell Cares" (RealAudio excerpt), with Snoop Dogg, and the single "Get Naked" (RealAudio excerpt), with George Clinton, Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst, Mix Master Mike and rapper Lil' Kim.
"I write with a hip-hop, jungle, electronic, metal flavor," Lee said last year. "I take the best of all the styles I like."
Joining the mayhem will be California rip-hop band Crazy Town, on all dates except March 16 in Vancouver and April 8 in Toronto.
