Masked hard rockers Slipknot recently launched a tour with Canadian

thrash rockers Kittie that will take the bands across North America

through late January. The two groups will play the House of Blues in Lake

Buena Vista, Fla., on Friday (Jan. 14), the Masquerade in Tampa, Fla.,

on Saturday, the Chili Pepper in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., on Sunday and the

Masquerade in Atlanta on Tuesday. The all-female teen group Kittie, from

London, Ontario, recently released their hard-rocking debut album, Spit,

which features such songs as "Brackish," "Suck" and "Get Off (You Can Eat

a Dick)." Slipknot's home video, "Welcome to Our Neighborhood" (1999) is

approaching platinum status, according to the band's representatives.

Dates are scheduled through Jan. 29 in Montreal, with more expected to

be added.
