DMX's Ruff Ryders, Juvenile's Cash Money Crews To Tour

Rap stars and their posses, including Eve, Swizz Beats, Lil' Wayne set 29 dates; more may be added.

An all-star hip-hop tour uniting DMX and Juvenile, and artists on their

respective labels, is slated to kick off in February.

The Ruff Ryders/Cash Money tour will feature Ruff Ryders rappers DMX,

Eve, Swizz Beats, Drag-On and the Lox sharing the stage with Cash Money

rappers Juvenile, Hot Boys, Lil' Wayne, Turk, B.G. and the Big Tymers.

Forty dates are scheduled; more are expected.

The trek is slated to begin Feb. 9 in Providence, R.I. Although the

hip-hoppers will focus on Eastern cities, the tour will stop in Texas,

Oklahoma, Nevada and California. It will run at least through an April

15 date in Sacramento, Calif., according to a Ruff Ryders representative

who requested anonymity.

Both DMX and Juvenile have new albums due this month, with the latter

releasing Tha G-Code on Tuesday. Juvenile's duet with Drag-On,

"Down Bottom," is at #5 on the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart.

DMX, whose hits include "Slippin" (RealAudio

excerpt), will release Dog, the Man, the God on Dec. 21.

He released two albums in 1998, It's Dark and Hell Is Hot and

Flesh of My Flesh — Blood of My Blood, both of which debuted

at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Eve's Let There Be ... Eve — Ruff Ryders' First Lady became

the highest-debuting album by a female rapper when it hit #1 in September.
