Free Music: Poor Righteous Teachers
Political rappers Poor Righteous Teachers have issued five new
songs in MP3 format. "Can You Feel It," "That Sh_t," "Just Live," "Losing My Religion" (not the R.E.M. song) and "Give It Up" are available for free download through Rapstation.com, the new hip-hop site created by Public Enemy frontman Chuck D. Poor Righteous Teachers, from Trenton, N.J., were one of several hip-hop groups that emerged in the early '90s with lyrics espousing tenets of the Five Percent Nation sect of Islam. Their most recent album was The New World Order
(1996).
