The Who Add Second Date To Benefit
Chicago House of Blues show with Eddie Vedder to raise money for abused children.
British Invasion veterans the Who and Pearl Jam
vocalist Eddie Vedder have added a second show to their
upcoming stint at Chicago's House of Blues. According to a press
release issued Monday (Oct. 11), the Nov. 12 and 13 shows will
benefit Maryville Academy, an Illinois residential care facility
for abused children. The event is Who guitarist Pete
Townshend's third annual benefit show for Maryville.
Townshend recently released an album culled from the two previous
concerts titled Pete Townshend Live: A Benefit for Maryville
Academy. Tickets for the shows are $300 and will go on sale
by lottery Oct. 16.
